The association’s members benefit from community-building initiatives that help connect our members around the region to each other and partners to collaborate, share ideas, and benefit from our programs, resources, story contests, and reporting grants. These include closed listservs, open subscriptions to the KENSJA Newsletter and Network initiatives.

Joining KENSJA

For organisations.

At KENSJA, we offer scientists, researchers, and policymakers a unique opportunity to interact with journalists, enhancing their science communication skills. Science communication, the art of conveying scientific information to a non-specialist audience, is at our heart.

Organisations that conduct vital research on the environment and its connection to other areas (like gender, One Health, and emerging and reemerging diseases) are highly valued at KENSJA and can become corporate members.

Benefits of members include:

Media training

Get training on communicating research findings, writing success stories, and media and public engagement in science.

Networking

Support the organization in understanding its audience, using our wide network to share solutions across borders.
